Helen Smith is a Suffolk-based jeweller, specialising in the ancient art of Mokume Gane. Layers of alternating metals are diffusion bonded to form a billet which is then worked to reveal intricate patterns that are then captured within simple, elegant forms.

In addition to her Mokume Gane work, Helen also explores the delicate art of cloisonné enamel, focusing on smooth surfaces and highly detailed surface decoration. This technique allows her to create vibrant, rich colours and intricate designs that complement her metalwork.
